SHARE Will Implement Healthcare Assistance in Kesennuma-city. (No.32)

SHARE will begin implementing   mid- and long-term healthcare assistance targeting isolated elderly citizens, physically-challenged and mother and children vulnerable to disease in Kesennuma-city, Miyagi prefecture from the end of March.
After the earthquake, a large scale fire struck Kesennuma city and spread quickly damaging public facilities and documents. Therefore, it has been a great challenge to secure the safety those unaccounted for and who are unable to go to the evacuation center. SHARE has identified and located those at risk, including elderly citizens, physically-challenged, and mothers and children, and will provide in home medical care.
SHARE will join the mobile medical assistance team, which is in the process of setting up a support center for home-visitation medical care with medical doctors, nurses, and care givers.
